Are you looking for ways to help improve your mind / body balance? Welcome to Tai Chi For Noah, a four week introductory online workshop on Tai Chi. Instructed by certified Tai Chi instructor, Anthony Baclig, Noah’s uncle and head coach for the CoachArt Organization, a non-profit that teaches arts and athletics to children with chronic illness.

All proceeds from this workshop will benefit Live Like Noah Foundation.

What is Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for defense training, health benefits, and mediation. According to Harvard Health, Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that can help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life.

What will I learn in this Tai Chi workshop?

In this low-impact, slow-motion exercise, Anthony Baclig (aka Coach Tony), will teach us a series of movements named for animal actions--for example, "part the wild horse's mane" and "repulse the monkey." These movements are based on the Simplified 8 Yang Style Tai Chi form.  Mindfulness and meditation techniques are also part of the exercise. This workshop can also be adapted for those who are in a wheelchair or have limited mobility. We are inspired to make this workshop available to you as Noah, herself, practiced Tai Chi when the martial art of Kung Fu became too physically challenging for her. Leave each lesson feeling the benefits of Tai Chi, including stress reduction, and improvements in balance, mobility, focus and energy.
